Chad McMeen (DJ / EMCEE / Photographer)

Chad started in the DJ business as a junior in high school in Southern Illinois. He studied the art of entertaining a crowd from Midwest Sound and Light Shows, one of the area's most trusted DJ companies.

In 1992 he joined the Marine Corps in the field of Public Relations and started back in the music industry. He settled down in Washington D.C and left a voice mail with the owner of Davis Deejays, a well-established company covering D.C., Maryland and Eastern Virginia. After a convincing audition, it wasn't long before he was performing at two to three wedding receptions each weekend.

His experience prompted him to continue this second job after being transferred to Dallas, Texas in 1998. There he immediately began working for Bill Cody's Party Time as one of their most reliable wedding DJ's. In June of 2001 he moved to the west side of Los Angeles for a four-year tour of duty.

He has entertained at corporate events, holiday parties, teen parties, anniversaries and a variety of school dances. However, he specializes in wedding receptions. Since 1990 he has entertained at nearly 500 events. He is currently a national spokesperson for the Marine Corps and is very comfortable speaking in front of large crowds.

Chad is best known for his ability to keep a party or reception organized and still manages to keep the dance floor packed. His attention-to-detail and personal touch often leaves a lasting and favorable impression on clients, caterers and photographers. He is always eager to work and never shies away from clients who are on a budget.

David Paul Murray (Photographer)

David Paul started experimenting with photography at the age of 8 when his father gave him a Canon AE-1 print film camera. Now, 14 years and nearly 200,000 photos later, David continues to refine his talent and strives to keep up with technology as it evolves.

David Paul first joined Music and Memories in the summer of 2008 when photographing a local sporting event. Since then, he has photographed numerous independent events and more than a dozen weddings alongside Chad or other staff photographers.

He was raised in South Carolina by an artistic family. His mother is an accomplished painter and his father works as a carpenter. Like his parents, David uses his skill and artistic eye to capture the emotion, environment and details of each assignment. His favorite part of photography is the idea of the new challenges each photograph and setting brings.

David Paul has experience in family photography, weddings, creative light, artistic, landscapes, macro, sporting events and studio work. He is also very talented in layout and design as well as editing in Photoshop.
